MalwareIntelligence was created by Jorge Mieres in 2006, when he was born as a personal blog aimed at channeling relevant issues around information security, but it was in 2008 when the orientation of the blog began to take another route barmen MalwareIntelligence.

Currently, the largest effort of content to be channeled through MalwareIntelligence has a direct relationship with all aspects of computer criminology and its implications on information security. Much of the research are embodied on the blog (either version in Spanish and English) by combining content with specific aspects of the field of intelligence, both strategic and operational levels.

While at first instance is providing for the publication of 100% of the information obtained through research, this decision has no relationship to try to put barriers in information but seeks not to hinder the work of intelligence during the research process.

The relationship that has sought to incorporate specific aspects of the intelligence field have the fundamental objective of providing a solid knowledge base about the scenario in which crimes are motivated daily via the Internet, to minimize the potential risks and serve as a tool useful in the security community to also address future threats in the field of computer criminology.

The content placed in MalwareIntelligence is a product of dedication and research of various security professionals actively working to develop specific material of interest, whose motivation is prinipal retro-feed the knowledge base and provide useful content to the security community in full.
